Constellation Goes Mobile with Wine Marketing

Constellation Brands, Inc. has launched a new mobile marketing program featuring popular wine brands within the shopkick mobile app during the industry's busiest season for wine and spirits sales.

The free shopkick mobile app, with more than 4 million iPhone and Android users, is designed to reward shoppers for simply visiting traditional brick and mortar retailers and engaging with products while there. Wine shoppers earn redeemable points – or “kicks” – in several ways:

·         By walking into a partner retail location

·         By scanning the bar code on a bottle of one of our participating wines while they are in the aisle

·         By viewing our “lookbook” of food and wine pairings on the shopkick app

"Kicks” can be redeemed for in-store gift cards, song downloads, movie tickets, hotel vouchers, Facebook Credits to play games online, donations to charity and more.

Through shopkick, Constellation Brands will reach consumers currently utilizing their smartphones while at the store or preparing for a shopping trip at home.
