Speyburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky announced a new promotion with American Rivers, the leading organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the nation’s rivers and streams. The “Speyburn Salmon Run” invites whisky lovers to sign up for Clan Speyburn, a loyalty group providing exclusive access to limited edition releases and related information and events. Speyburn will donate $1 to American Rivers for every new member, up to 3,000 members. The promotion will be communicated through an in-pack piece displayed at retail stores from July 1 to Sept. 30.
Speyburn has had a long standing connection to conservation, fishing and the great outdoors. It is distilled with water from the Granty Burn, a tributary of the River Spey, which is known for its world class salmon fishing. The brand will also conduct tastings at various American Rivers events throughout the year. Speyburn has been a supporter of the organization since 2011.
“We appreciate the value of our fresh water resources and recognize the importance of healthy rivers for the environment – as well as for the production of fine whisky,” Said Pat Graney, President of IBHL USA. “American Rivers is a great partner and we’re proud to support and contribute to their ongoing efforts and successes.”
