New RNDC Hire to Focus on Proximo Brands

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the nation’s second largest premium wine and spirits distributor, today announced the hiring of Pape Swanson as vice president of marketing at RNDC. In his role, Swanson will have responsibility over the overall strategic development and implementation of the Proximo brand portfolio for RNDC.

Swanson joins RNDC after 12 years with Red Bull North America, where he managed multiple states across the country. Most recently, he served as president of Red Bull Distribution Company. In that role, he had oversight of strategy development and execution for the sales, operations, human resources and finance functions in 37 distribution centers across 11 states. Prior to that, Swanson managed strategy and execution of marketing, distribution, key accounts and on-premise in one of the five U.S. business units covering 13 states.
 
Swanson is a graduate of Texas Tech University where he earned a bachelor of arts in Advertising. He brings more than 20 years of industry experience in beverage marketing and sales to RNDC with his progressive career experiences with Julius Schepps, Miller of Dallas, Bacardi, and most recently, Red Bull Distribution Company.
Swanson will be based in Grand Prairie, Texas.
