FIJI Named Official Water of Emmy Awards

FIJI Water has been named the official water for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet and the Governors Ball.  FIJI Water will be served exclusively at both Monday, August 25 events, celebrating television’s biggest night.

Making its Emmy red carpet debut, FIJI Water will be enjoyed by some of television’s brightest stars and leading industry innovators. Also for the first time, although no stranger to a red carpet, the custom, reusable FIJI Straw will be on-hand to help nominees hydrate in style.  Immediately following the 66th Emmy Awards telecast, FIJI will adorn the vibrant tables at the Governors Ball, themed “Kaleidoscope of Color.” This marks the first time FIJI Water has served as a sponsor of the event.

FIJI Water has established itself among the entertainment, fashion and lifestyle communities, with continued presence at select high-profile events annually including major award shows, international film festivals and New York Fashion Week. Drawn from a protected, underground aquifer on the Fijian island of Viti Levu, FIJI Water, with its unique mineral profile and signature soft taste, is bottled directly at the source, ensuring that it is untouched until the cap is unscrewed. FIJI features naturally occurring silica and electrolytes, which creates the soft mouthfeel and distinctive taste that appeals to discerning consumers and top chefs alike.

“FIJI Water is proud to partner with the Television Academy to celebrate and support the biggest night in TV,” said David Ricanati, President, FIJI Water.  “From the red carpet to the ultimate Emmys after-party, we are thrilled to showcase Earth’s Finest Water throughout this very special event.”

FIJI Water was featured during the Television Academy’s Governors Ball “Sneak Peek” event on July 23rd which previewed the theme, décor, special effects, food and beverage for this Emmy Awards ultimate after party.

Emmy recipients will be announced at the 66th Emmy Awards ceremony on Monday, August 25, 2014, simulcast live on NBC at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Seth Meyers.
