Orange Juice Consumption Continues to Slump in U.S.
U.S. orange juice retail sales continue to slide as more consumers opt out of the beverage due to high prices. Total domestic retail sales of orange juice fell 4.8% in terms of volume and 2.1% in terms of revenue for the four weeks ended Sept. 29, versus the same period in 2011, according to Nielsen data published by the Florida Department of Citrus on Monday.
