Wine May Be Good For Mental Health

A glass of wine a day may keep the blues at bay, according to a Spanish study of the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. The research, part of the broader Predimed report on the Mediterranean diet, followed 5,500 light to moderate drinkers of both sexes over a period of seven years and found that those who drank two to seven glasses of wine a week were less prone to depression than non-drinkers.
